The world needs security. The Center for Civil Liberties invites to join the global action
For 10 years, Russia has been committing international crimes throughout Ukraine. Criminals must be brought to justice. A special tribunal for the crime of aggression should be established to convict all those who give and execute criminal orders. But among all Russian officials, there is a triad that enjoys personal international immunity because of their positions:
- Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation
- Sergey Lavrov, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
- Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation
And the establishment of such a tribunal can overcome this immunity. The conviction of war criminals is necessary not only to ensure justice for the victims of war, but also to keep the world safe.
The world needs security. Ukraine needs victory. The Center for Civil Liberties invites you to join the global action in different parts of the world.
Promo period: 20-24 February 2024. The format of the campaign is a performance in different cities around the world.
How to participate?
Option 1. Organise a performance in your city. The purpose of the performance is to show that the world needs security and that it is necessary to convict war criminals who commit international crimes in Ukraine. Approximate timeframe — 15 minutes. Write to us and we will send you all the materials you need for the performance, including a script, mock-ups of posters and an audio recording in English about the war crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine during the war since 2014. The director of the performance is Anastasia Agafonova.
Option 2. Participation in mass actions with posters. Suitable for those who have already planned to go to a peaceful rally and are ready to bring a message that the world needs security. To do this, we will send you posters electronically that you can print out on the spot.
