World Day Against Internet Censorship

World Day Against Internet Censorship is observed on March 12th every year to raise awareness about internet censorship and advocate for a free, open, and uncensored internet. The day is marked by various events and campaigns to draw attention to the issue of online censorship, which is a growing concern around the world.

The day was first established in 2008 by the French group “Reporters Without Borders” (RSF) and is now observed by many organizations and activists globally.
