On March 20, 2022, Serhii Udovichenko was abducted by three Russian soldiers from his yard in the village of Bayrak, near the city of Balakleya. Serhii was taken for interrogation. No reports about his status since have been confirmed. However, according to some sources, Serhii may be held in pretrial detention center number 3 in the Russian city of Belgorod.
