On May 12, 2023, Konstantin left his home, and 15 minutes later, three men in civilian clothes and balaclavas came to his house. They told his mother that Kostiantyn was detained for “violating the regime” and taken to the “military commandant’s office”. The unidentified men then searched the apartment and took Konstantin’s documents and any money they could find. Later, they came to search the apartment several times. Three days after Kostyantyn’s disappearance, his mother went to the ‘commandant’s office’. They told her that they didn’t have her son. Then she repeatedly appealed to various so-called “institutions” of the occupiers, but they sent her to each other. On June 27, she learned from one of the Russian soldiers that Konstantin was being transported to Chongar. Currently, the family has no contact with Konstantin and does not know where he is.
