After the full-scale invasion and occupation of the city of Kherson, Ihor Kolikhayev did not resign. The Russian military abducted him on June 28, 2022. Since then, Ihor’s family has not established contact with him. According to civilians released from captivity, Ihor was first held in Kherson, then in Hola Prystan, and then transferred to Kalanchak. According to the latest information, he is being held in Chaplynka. Prisoners who have seen Igor Kolikhayev say that his physical condition is very poor: he is sick, frail, thin, and exhausted. He is not given food and is not allowed to share food with anyone. Ihor’s captors also do not provide him with warm clothes or medicine.
