Dmytro Bohaievskyi

During the first three weeks of the occupation, Dmytro Bohaievskyi and a friend were trying to provide support to the population in Hlibivka, which lacked means of communication and electricity. After the Russian military found out, on March 17, 2022 they took Dmytro from his home and sent him to «the foundry», an industrial area in the south of Dymer where the Russians were holding prisoners. Then the Russian army took Dmytro and dozens of other civilians first to Belarus and then to Novozybkiv, a detention center in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. He is currently being held in the same detention center.
