Maidan-2016 in Ukraine, is it real?
Ukraine needs to develop, rather than return to a state of Kuchma’s regime. This was stated by Ukrainian human rights activist and founding member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, vice-rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University Myroslav Marinovic.
According to him, a stalemate has to be resolved in 2016, has evolved in the Ukrainian parliament.
“I have a feeling that, in political terms, was fastened a knot that can not be cut. The main war, which implicitly is in Ukraine, a war between the oligarchs and the people reform society, who want to implement the mandate received from the Maidan. This is a power struggle, I think, in 2016 resolved “, – said the expert.
According to founding member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, in 2016 we should not exclude the possibility of protests.
“The government must listen to the voice of society, sounded very drastic way. But I am opposed to emotional appeals, figuratively speaking, “all on the forks.” I want this government was a political alternative, but in a democratic sense of the word. Ukraine needs to develop, rather than return to a state of Kuchma’s regime, “- says human rights activist.
At the same time, Miroslav Marinović does not believe in “the third Maidan-2016.”
“Politically there is no alternative. All these radicals such as Lyashko – is not an option. This emotion, beyond which you should not clear Ukraine’s reform program. So I would be very worried if the third Maidan seized power radicals that can destroy, but can not create anything meaningful, “- concluded Marinovic.
