Urgent address of the European Parliament on the ratification of the Rome Statute. February, 2016

Draft amendments to the Constitution that have been adopted in the first reading postpone the ratification of the Rome Statute in Ukraine for another 3 years.

“The ratification of the Rome Statute will guarantee the impossibility of avoiding punishment for international crimes and thus will be a new beginning for peace talks where leaders will try to achieve real, lasting and just peace, no matter will it be in the Minsk-3 or any other format.” – says David Donat-Kattin, secretary general of the international organization Parliamentarians for Global Action.
