Nobel gold will be sold at an auction to help Ukrainians

“The gold medal remained in the storage of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. My team and I decided that next year we will hold an auction and transfer the received funds to the needs of Ukrainians. So, today, the official replica of the award arrived in Ukraine,” said Oleksandra Matviychuk on the live broadcast of the “Vikna” program on the STB TV channel.

The human rights activist added that there are many needs: from helping people to reconstruction and military issues. Where the money will go will depend on the final amount obtained due to the auction.
