Ivan Kozlov, a 34-year-old resident of Kherson, was detained by Russia’s Federal Security Service in Armyansk on the administrative border of annexed Crimea on April 21, 2022, while trying to evacuate his wife and two young children to Georgia. The Kozlov family did not pass the so-called «filtration » process. The occupiers let Ivan’s wife and children go on, while Ivan was detained. A few months after his detention, Ivan’s wife found out that her husband was in the Simferopol detention center.
