Athlete, trainer, activist. Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region
On April, 6, 2022, russian occupiers kidnapped, then arrested and took to Moscow a 44-year-old athlete from Melitopol, Andrii Golubev, a former frontier man, kung fu coach. He was arrested for two months by the so-called Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea on trumped-up charges of involvement in terrorism. The local court of appeal later rejected his appeal. At the present time, Andriy Golubev is transferring from Lefortovo in Moscow to the pretrial detention center of Rostov-on-Don. There is information that he is not receiving proper medical treatment in the detention centre, which could lead to disability and the need for urgent surgery.
