We advocate human rights, provide human rights education, conduct public control events, the release of Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia, and the prosecution of war criminals.

• The volunteers of the hotline of our “Euromaidan SOS” initiative, founded in 2013 to help the victims and search for the missing during the Maidan events, received more than 16,000 calls and provided assistance to the victims and their families.

• Thanks to our SaveOlegSentsov campaign, more than 100,000 people in 40 countries found out about Ukrainian political prisoners and civilians in Russian prisons, and it helped their release.

• More than 2,000 people have studied at the Kyiv School of Human Rights.

The OZON public monitoring group have monitored more than 100 peaceful meetings and court hearings.

• The “Human Rights Agenda” platform, which CCL coordinates, stopped adopting 5 legislative initiatives dangerous to human rights.

Since the invasion of Russian troops on February 24, 2022, we have entirely reformatted our work. We document war crimes with our colleagues in the “Tribunal for putin” initiative and advocate creating and improving mechanisms to bring war criminals to justice. Now our database includes more than 47,000 cases. We search for, support and advocate for the release of Ukrainian civilians imprisoned in the occupied territories and in Russia. Through our diaspora, international human rights networks, partners, and friends around the world, we actively work for international advocacy on the most pressing human rights issues. In our social media, we share informational materials on human rights protection in different languages so everyone who wants to participate in human rights activities and understand its meaning can do this.
