Yaroslav Platonov

Hotel worker. Tolokun, Kyiv region

Yaroslav Platonov, 24, was taken prisoner by the Russian military on March 20, 2022, while at his workplace at the EcoSpase hotel in the village of Tolokun, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region. The Russian invaders entered the hotel and forcibly took Yaroslav and two other hotel employees, blindfolding them before leading them off in an unknown direction. Now, the Red Cross has confirmed that Yaroslav Platonov is likely to be held in a penitentiary institution in Russia.
